All of the sudden, on one day, none of Abby's shoes fit. Not her tennis shoes, not her dressy black shoes nor her dressy tan shoes, not her sandals, and not even her slippers. The only thing left are her flip-flops, and she refuses to wear those because of "the big thing smashed next to my big toe." Sheesh.
To say Abby just went through a growth spurt would be an understatement.
Her legs are huge. Her feet are huge. Her big toe is huge. (No, I don't say these things to Abby.) All of a sudden she looks like a giantess on her bike. She barely fits. She's all legs on that thing. When she sits on my lap, her legs poke out far enough to trip Lee walking past. When she sits in her car seat, her knees finally reach the edge of the seat and she can swing her feet down rather than straight out. But now it seems, that the space between her car seat and the driver seat in front is just filled with her knees. We're going to have to move her seat over behind the passenger seat for more leg room for her. Gosh.
Where did this big kid come from?
