Has anyone heard of the "elegant" food trucks that are ubber popular right now? They're not your father's roach coach. Oh no. Some of them have serious, gourmet food. Some of them are so popular they have a following of fans on Twitter or Facebook. Some fans will actually drive all over town chasing those trucks just to get their favorite tasty treat.
Well a few trucks recently showed up at work. The people of VSP squealed with delight. Happy faces, grinning ear to ear, would walk in totting a sizable snow cone.
People in the halls would watch the snow cone float by and wonder where they could get their hands on such a tasty treat. Some confused souls would run to the on-site cafe here. But, woe-is-them, the cafe wasn't the source of the rainbow of ice. Look outside! On the street. A line of sweet smelling trucks were parked at the curb.
The crowd swelled.
Some of the old timers didn't see the appeal. In their day, roach coaches could make you sick. You never knew what you were eating. But now? Yummy! Week after week the trucks returned and now there are people from VSP, the business across the street, the business down the road, neighborhood folks, and random passersby - they all stop and stand in line for their delicious food. Talk about a community event!

The crowd has grown and grown. I must admit I'm a part of that crowd too...and happy about it! Yum yum yummy!
